The SaladWorks chain of salads and sandwiches has blossomed to more than 100 locations throughout the nation, including three in the Lehigh Valley.
The chain wants to grow even larger, recently launching a special financing deal of $75,000 for a single franchise. It's a substantial break from about $262,000 to $499,998 a franchise would normally cost, the company said.
Only a limited number of $75,000 franchises will be awarded to individuals who best display SaladWorks' core values including the "passion to be the best," to "do whatever it takes," and that "it is all about the customer," according to the company's written statement.
The statement added that the special financing offer was created because the current economic climate and state of financing has discouraged potential entrepreneurs from joining a franchise.
SaladWorks spokeswoman Erin Salvatore said the Conshohocken-based company is looking to expand into more suburban areas, including the Lehigh Valley.
SaladWorks opened a store in Lower Nazareth Township last month.
